What we collect — and what we don't
- Newsletter subscriptions: Your email address only, if you voluntarily subscribe. Used only to send the newsletter. Unsubscribe from any email.
- Contact form submissions: Your name, email, and message. Used only to respond. Not stored beyond 90 days.
- Analytics: Anonymous page view data — pages visited, approximate region, device type, referral source. No IP addresses in identifiable form. No cross-site tracking.
- Cookies: A single first-party session cookie for site functionality. No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, you enter a third-party site governed by their own privacy policy. We do not receive or process any payment or personal data from these transactions. See our disclosure policy for full details.
Newsletter (The Sunday Brief)
- Your email is stored with our ESP under a data processing agreement
- We send one email per week. No promotional emails or third-party offers
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email — no login required
- On unsubscription, your email is removed within 72 hours
Analytics
- Does not use cookies for tracking
- Does not collect personally identifiable information
- Does not track you across other websites
- Stores data on GDPR-compliant EU servers
Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. To exercise any right: privacy@fitlabreviews.com. We respond within 30 days.
Data retention
- Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 72 hours
- Contact form submissions: deleted after 90 days
- Anonymous analytics: retained for 24 months on a rolling basis
Children's privacy
Fitlab Reviews is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us to request deletion if a child has submitted data.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be noted in our changelog and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
